For your criticism to actually work, there would have to be a notable trail of players whose careers were negatively affected by this draconian preference for 32 year olds. But there's a reason James Wallace or Bjarni Vidarsson or Hope Akpan didn't play for Everton. It was because they wouldn't have been good enough.
You could massage the facts if you wanted to make these claims about any manager, trust me. It doesn't hold water.
