Actually, if we do make Europe, I expect another 100M plus to be spent in the Summer.

We have tied most of our younger, big names to long term contracts, so a relatively strong base is in place.

We make Europe, Grealish is bought, George is bought outright, Illy long term contract and then we go and buy.

One game at a time though.

I don’t see this side getting Europe without Grealish or competent full backs sadly

Was very hopeful at the beginning of the month, but the poor home form , injuries and lack of transfer activity have put paid to that

I think a gap will start to open up from Chelsea and united, which is a shame cos the latter look pretty poor around new year

We will see in time, but first things first, What position will he sit on the bench, as that is where Moyes tends to put younger players.

….don’t let the truth spoil the narrative 😄

It’s agreed that Moyes now signs off transfers, in the summer he brought in Dibling, Rohl, Aznou and Barry. Seems he’s overseeing a transfer strategy of young players with potential. Now looks like another 19yo is about to join, Tyrique George.

No manager in our history has given more teenagers their PL debut than Moyes. From a national perspective, look at the youngest ever PL goalscorers and Moyes managed 2 of the top 5, at least 3 in top 20. A record to be proud of. Now ask these young players about their development and improvement under Moyes;

To stay competitive in the Premier League while playing in the Europa League or the other thing would mean spending a fair bit more than 100 million and I have doubts that our owners would be willing to spend that. But as you say,one game at a time.

After years of horribleness I would take a deep run and potentially winning the conference league (of which we would be one of the favourites as it stands, without additions), if it meant our league form suffered and we finished say 13th

But then we’ve given the club and the fans either some great memories in Europe, or an actual trophy an qualification for the europa league

That with a few additions on top of that would likely be one of the favourites for that

Again our league form might dip, but there’s a bigger squad in place, so we come 9th, but we’ve won the europa league, and now we’re in the champions league

Now we’re signing another quality of player

Ad infinitum
