2025/26 Tyler Dibling

So would I, and have Ndaiye up top.

….don’t understand why anybody would move Ndiaye from a position where he’s one of the best in the league and effective at international level to central positions where he’s not looked anywhere near as good. We are weak at CF, that would just make us weak at RW also.

If our strikers are to be ditched then surely Alcaraz would be the option. He looks better central and is also decent aerially to get on the end of crosses. It’s not an experiment I’d be keen on and certainly not involving Ndiaye.

Is that you Moyesey? Same 11 tonight, I presume?

Alcaraz has shown in glimpses that he can create and score from a central position. Whereas Dibling hasn’t shown anything in the minutes he’s had that he’s ready to start. I’d also begin to look at our defence. Tarks hadn’t been at the races this season. I’d be equally tempted to play Jimmy at RB and move JOB to central defence instead of Tarks. I’d play Rohl alongside Gana.

I think Ndaiye gets a bit frustrated on the right, partly because our forwards are a bit crap, but also because the majority of our attacking play goes out to Grealish. I'm no expert, but the balance just isn't right at the moment.
