2025/26 Tyler Dibling

I heard yesterday that Brighton haven't played the same starting 11 consecutively in over 50 games.

Pretty impressive and it shows confidence in the players you have, also keeps the players positive.

….you suggesting we play players who underperform? McNeil and Dibling to start against Sunderland just to keep them positive.

Don't recall mentioning starting, but you have a bench of players not getting better game time, what happens when injuries kick in, Afcon.

Players like Alcaraz coming on changing the game and either getting dropped or thrown in a position not suited to him.

You cant move forward with 11 players and no ready prepared replacements.

….from what I see they get game time off the bench.

“Here’s a video of a winger who plays nothing like you and is so much faster than you. Can you please get a lot faster and completely change your game? Cheers”

My thoughts exactly …

He is a player with different attributes that has achieved nothing in the game so far … please copy him … not the CL multiple title winning player we have playing with you every week in training

I'd personally be starting him tonight.

Grealish-Dewsbury-Hall-Dibling behind Ndiaye.

Obviously it won't happen tonight or ever, but it wouldn't be worse than starting with either of Barry or Beto, and that's the current benchmark.

Fair point, although Moist is a stubborn get. He would have thrived as a manager in the 70's with a small squad and one sub.

….he’s proved himself to be a fine manager. Managers have to be single minded, they have to stick to what they believe is right as it’s impossible to pander to the wishes of every fan and pundit.

You want to start playing Dibling at no10 even though he’s not shown anything to suggest he should start games, lots want him to play Alcaraz at no10, and Moyes thinks KDH is his best option at no10. He’s never going to keep everybody happy, top managers go with what they believe.

There’s a reason we’ll be doing what we do today whilst Moyes is taking charge of his umpteenth top flight football match.

I'm getting flashbacks of 'play Bilyaletdinov behind the striker' on here. Sounded like a good idea, but never happened. Moist is one stubborn get, who resists change to the bitter end.

He knew how the hit a ball didn’t he

Some screamers in his small but impressive catalog

Let's give the lad time. He has shown the potential to be an excellent footballer.

Some people on here regard Anthony Gordon as Chris Waddle or John Barnes...yet he has zero goals and zero assists in his last 19 premier league games. He's basically a professional footballer for running around off the ball - a cross between Park Ji-sung and James Milner.
