2025/26 Tyler Dibling

Dibling has shown nothing that demands that Moyes should be selecting him ( rotation or otherwise) and even less to justify a fee of £40 million.

Honestly someone's head should roll for agreeing that fee.

Why does a young 19year old player need to justify a £40mil fee so soon?

He's not a similar player to Bale. But if he has 2 goals and 2 assists in his first 2 seasons (as Bale did) then what?

He'll be 21 then and may follow a similar trajectory.

At that point he'll be unattainable.

4th in moyes most expensive purchases. Its an interesting list. Some great signings. Some real turkeys though. Mostly west ham.
1st juan mata
2nd kudus
3rd paqueta
4th dibling.

By far the youngest though. And for that reason its a work in progress.

You appear conflicted.
One is sarcasm, sorry.

tbh I'm just amazed at how football fans can pass judgement and effectively discard a 19yr old player. I'd remind people of the masterstroke signing of experienced, straight in the team, Rondon. Maybe not as expensive as Dibs but I'll never get rid of that lumbering memory.

I'll give the lad time and would welcome such signings in future, 'cos it gives you a future.

Surely we need him when NDiaye is at afcon ?

What a panicky lot we are still.

Moyes has said several times over we couldn't attract the 'ready' players, so we have potential quality instead.

Or we could do a Moshiri again and sell them at a loss of course.

It's not like he has Jack Harrison ahead of him - NDiaye is one of our best.
