2025/26 Tyler Dibling

Shouldn’t have bought him then when we didn’t have right winger. Second most expensive signing ever and the manager doesn’t rate him never mind the fans.

Why?

He’s an investment in the future, we definitely should and we definitely should be a club that aspires to sign the youngest players with the highest ceilings.

Our most creative and productive goal scoring player is at right wing mate - we have a right winger

Most of these negative comments would be fair if the lad had actually had a run of games.

If you watched him even over a few matches at Southampton, you could see the level of talent there. Former club managers and England managers have spoken very highly of him.

When your key ability is dribbling, match sharpness is crucial. You do not get that sharpness without minutes on the pitch, and it is hard to stay sharp when you barely get a kick.

He has hardly had a proper chance. Give the lad a break.

He looks a completely different person and player.

Personally I think Moyes has been very patient with the lad who’s done nothing yet in his (limited) opportunities and gave him an honest challenge in public that he needs to perform if he wants to play for Everton. I’m sure this isn’t a surprise for Dibling as I’m sure he’s been told he needs to offer more privately the whole time he’s been here.

Compare to Harrison Armstrong who came in, performed, and has played every week since (albeit out of position)

Theres your problem, comparing 2 totally different players and people.

Armstrong was hooked yesterday when he had a superior game to Gana. Yes he wasnt great in his passing but did fine otherwise.

If that was Dibling, he'd not have made it out 2nd half. Whats the common correlation, both are 19.

Thats the reason theyre 'sacrificed' and in Diblings case not given a chance across a few games.

If Aznou, Armstrong, Dibling and George were all on fire and putting in great performances they'd never be on the pitch together ahead of experienced favourites.

Maybe he should have just left it there rather than showing how 'tough' he is to the … it’s tiring as F trying to read this forum without you popping up and having a go at someone …

Please … just for one day .. could you “leave it there” and shut up ?

Any thread that has any mention of Moyes is de railed by you and it’s doing my head in .

I couldn’t watch the game last night ( in in aus ) so I woke up and logged in this morning after seeing that we had won and and BAM! First post in the match thread was you posting the post match interview of Moyes slagging him off after a win…

Went into other thread BAM… you again don’t the same thing

Come into the Dibling thread and yep… you’re in here slagging off Moyes ..

I haven’t even gone into the Moyes thread yet ..

I just want to have a read of the forum and enjoy other peoples opinions but you are everywhere and it is very annoying .

He’s an investment for the future that was signed on a 4 year deal … he will be a year in come the summer and likely that he’s played almost no games , has not improved and his value plummeted …

I'll give it time but he looks so ponderous for a winger, reminds me of bily outwide

He's not and never has been a winger. Yes he has been (mistakenly imo) played wide, but then you could play me wide and I'm 68 with a hip replacement.

I think he's cheesed off and will leave soon rather than later.

But you don't try to mash your potatoes with a screwdriver, you get a masher or if you want some all round flexibility use a fork. Dibling is a screwdriver.

He's sounding more and more bily-ish if we are going with the play him behind the striker shouts

It'd be great to have a team full of youth winning games. Fact is those 4 players aren't good enough to be starting every week.

Can't blame Moyes for taking off Armstrong yesterday. We went on to win the game and there was a big moment in stoppage time where Gueye intercepted a ball that was dropping for a Fulham player.

It's clear Dibling is going to need more time to settle. That's fine considering we're doing well without him. Hopefully the fact George has gone straight ahead of him will fire him up a bit - right now it looks like he needs it.

The ignore button is a fantastic tool mate. To be honest it's been a while since I used it.... But during the match thread yesterday if I started I wouldn't have had much to read 😂😂
