Just started this to get in the Halloween spirit and it’s absolutely bonkers. I’ve never seen any of the Evil Dead’s before.

You don’t really need to have seen them tbh, as the plot is quite simple.

Just finished that first Watchmen ep and actually really enjoyed it.

One of my fave graphic novels and movies but you kinda have to ignore what's come before this TV series as whilst set in that universe I don't think it's specifically meant to be seen as a sequel. It's got a very topical main theme eminating from this first episode.

I kinda liked the clockwork orange feel but I’m not sold on it just yet. Be interesting to see how the story develops and whether it can really create its own identity as a series.

Yeh from what I read the films aren’t actually designed as comedy horror like the series so probs wouldn’t care for them anyway. Looking forward to smashing this over the weekend though.

Yeh I think it was a strong start. I went in with a lot of previous Watchmen bias so to come away enjoying it means it must have been pretty good for me haha. I think it’s left it on a nice cliff hanger already for episode 1.

Hahaha the fella who plays him is a smart guy aswell, wrote captain fantastic
