Agreed, Marvel have had a big head start with the films and DC have come in for some criticism but I've actually enjoyed the DC films more then the more recent Marvel ones. It's a question of world building, DC haven't taken the time to properly establish their cinematic universe like Marvel did.

Agreed they are far far behind. They won't be able to catch up.
But that being said I am looking forward to wonder woman and aqua man and the next justice league.

DC just isnt as populer as Marvel in general so it's an uphill battle from the start. The Batman solo film should be great as they appear to be trying for something different this time.

I'd defiantly recommend DareDevil though mate. It took a few episodes to get going but season one is brilliant and season two is even better.

DC movies will continue to suck as long as Zack Snyder is at the helm (see Batman v Superman) and if the studio continues to interfere with films (see Suicide Squad).

They needed to slow down the DC universe before releasing an Justice League movie, in order to give some depth to the Justice League members. Justice League movie is gonna blow real hard.

Yeah you maybe right. The batman v superman film was a bit lame specially the whole Martha thing that was pathetic.

Agree no real depth to the universe which marvel have done exceptionally well at. This is D.C. trying to catch up and failing Imo.

The extended edition of B v S was slightly better, but still a convoluted mess generally. I'm holding out the solo Batman film redeems the DC universe, and I really do like Affleck as Batman. But DC are just never gonna release as good a superhero movie as The Dark Knight. Ever.


I had 3 series recommended to me: The Shield, The Bridge and Gomorrah. Anyone watched these?
