The Sopranos is just the pinnacle of television, though. It will take some beating.

The Sopranos was my number 1 show until Breaking Bad just about took top spot.

the book is brilliant, the film they made was a bit rubbish

The series has received fantastic reviews. Wish I knew about half these books before they made it to the screen.

Brilliant series mate. Suggest you watch all the other series before the finale on Sunday, got a feeling theres a bit of a twist it in from series one, maybe wrong like.

Yeah, it's good but kind of lost interest during the last 2 series, felt it went on too long.

The Shield. Watching series 5 on AMC, which is supposedly poorer than earlier ones and very similar to The Wire.

I enjoyed SOA, but the story is a complete joke. As for some of the characters as well......
