Bit of a slow start, but I'm sure the season will be great.

The pace has always been pretty slow, but that doesn't bother me. It's all about character development, and that can take time.
BCS isn't going to go down in history as one of the all-time greats, but it's a good entertaining show.

I'm a huge fan of Breaking Bad, but I think Better Call Saul is a more intriguing show. I love it and have been looking forward to season 3 for ages. This weeks episode made me feel quite uncomfortable - I haven't got a clue what Chuck has planned for his revenge, and Jimmy actually seems really vulnerable. He's on a downwards slope.
Also, The Mike plot is genius.

New series of Peter Kay's Car Share was on tonight.
It's taken me a while to appreciate how good it is, as I was always comparing it to Phoenix Nights.
Some real little funny moments in it, like the road sign for - " the Shaun Ryder Rehab Centre ".
Subtle and very well written.

It's watchable love dovy with a few bits of sharp Kay comedy in it, no where near the Phoenix Nights standards hard to follow that standard of genius comedy !
For a light hearted sitcom on the BBC it ain't bad- ain't least it ain't that Mrs Brown's shoite.
Just finished Black Sails, I thought it was excellent.

It's just a really nice watch. A good script, simple premise and two actors with excellent chemistry.
Don't watch much British TV these days as most of the good stuff is American, but I couldn't imagine an American version of car share. It's understated and charming.

Better Call Saul was good yesterday. Looking forward to seeing what sparks him working in the muffin place in the flashbacks.
