I've just finished rewatching the now unfortunately cancelled Constantine series. It such a shame it only lasted thirteen episodes because it was good enough to go on for many years. I'm glad they at least brought it out on DVD for collectors so those of us who enjoyed it can at least watch it again. Hopefully somebody will pick this series up again at some point and give it another go.

I know loads of you watch The Wire, I'm on my 4th time watching it all the way through again and I just clocked something I never saw before.
Major Rawls is gay. In season 3 when Brother Mouzone shows up again looking for Omar he sends his fat mate into the gay bar to ask around about Omar, before leaving the bar after thinking he was going to get chatted up the camera pans and shows Rawls sitting having a drink.

The producers said they just threw that scene in there with no real agenda or plot direction, and never drew upon in in later episodes. I think it's great that they just have that one fleeting scene, totally out of the blue, and never refer to it. I was just watching it and then all of a sudden I was like "Was that Rawls?!?!?". I got so excited by this discovery, it means nothing really but it was just one of those things you never pick up on the first few times you watch.
