Finished the first season of The OA recently.
Started off promising but got a little too ridiculous and overly sentimental for my liking.
About half-way through 'The Expanse' atm which is pretty damn good. Highly recommended if you are a sci-fi fan!
With you on this one. I watched about 30-45 minutes of series 3 and couldn't get into it. Just left it for a bit.Starts of great untill last series good watch though!
I liked it. It requires you to pay attention so if that's not your idea of good tv then swerve it. Towards the end of the series it began to remind me a little of BSG, but only obliquely. What's 'Westworld' like guys? Thinking of starting to watch it. Need a new series but can't decide what to watch.
Had another crack at it again a couple of months back, but picked up Six Feet Under for peanuts and watched that instead. Have gone back to Mad Men for now, but will return to The Wire after I think. It's very, very good, but the hour running time calls for a bit more commitment - I like to get a couple of episodes in every night so that's an extra half hour to find somewhere!Rewatching The Wire. Class.
did you finish vikings jake?i watched the last episode last night and it definitely wetted my appetite for another series.love that show. Was watching Vikings last night and briefly saw a teaser for a new show called Knightfall about The Templar Knights and The Friday The 13th culling. I love this period of history so I'm very hopeful.

ya for the whole season i was like you thinking wtf is this show all about, but when i got to the end i was like, you know what, that wasn't a bad show.defo not for everybody and know a good few who stopped halfway through but i enjoyed it.second season just started but missed the first 2 episodes so think i will wait until it is finished then watch it straight through.I liked it. It requires you to pay attention so if that's not your idea of good tv then swerve it. Towards the end of the series it began to remind me a little of BSG, but only obliquely.
I've just started watching Fortitude. Just finished S1 episode 6 - the Doctor and her daughter have just had a.... disagreement - but I am in full-on WTF territory. In a good way. Anyone watched this?
You bothering with season 5?Rewatching The Wire. Class.
Or maybe you're just into gilfs.I've relegated Homeland to the planner. My decision based on last week's piss poor offering, which I accept will always be a scene setting exercise, and having watched that Apple Tree Yard, I am almost ashamed to admit I preferred that and watched the second episode as it was broadcast.
Sounds great. Any idea what station will broadcast it? I don't have Sky AtlanticWas watching Vikings last night and briefly saw a teaser for a new show called Knightfall about The Templar Knights and The Friday The 13th culling. I love this period of history so I'm very hopeful.
