TV Series

Homeland series 6 starts Sunday here in UK. Just read a few snippets of the upcoming series plot and I reckon it has confirmed my thoughts for a long while.
Compelling viewing to begin with but has gone like Prison Break and should have quit whilst ahead.

Watched the second episode of series six last night and I'm really struggling to maintain an interest.

That mad face she pulls all the time, when she's riled, with her eyes popping out, is becoming very annoying.

Will give it one more episode before whether deciding to bin it off.

I've relegated Homeland to the planner. My decision based on last week's piss poor offering, which I accept will always be a scene setting exercise, and having watched that Apple Tree Yard, I am almost ashamed to admit I preferred that and watched the second episode as it was broadcast.

It's just become tired and it's like they are wringing the life out of it for all its worth.

As for what they've done to Quinn, what's that all about !!!!!!!!

Caught up with episode two last night.
TBH didn't think it was too bad. Still pretty formulaic but not the worst thing on the box at present.

Finished the first season of The OA recently.
Started off promising but got a little too ridiculous and overly sentimental for my liking.

About half-way through 'The Expanse' atm which is pretty damn good. Highly recommended if you are a sci-fi fan!

YES LAD!

Everyone should get onto this. If you read then definitely check out the novel series, I've read them all.

The first series of the show only covers less than half of the first book and it is all about setting up the pieces on the geo-political gameboard.
