Unfortunately, I didn’t see your critique before I started watching it. Lol, oh well.
I did think that too, but when I looked at the credits, it would appear that they had an " input " into the making of it, with other people being much more involved in it`s making.
It looks to me, like they`ve used their name and peripheral involvement, to promote it and to get people like me, you and many others to watch it.
True, different script writer, different producers… But that’s how Netflix rolls, I suppose.
At one stage, I know they were throwing cash at anyone who had even a slightly decent sounding idea.
Sounds like they still do, lol.
What’s next for the Duffer Brothers? Are they going to end up like the Wachowskis brothers? A huge hit with the Matrix trilogy, then a slight decline with decent, but not amazing films like ‘Cloud Atlas’…
Then what? Both brothers running out of creative ideas and then simultaneously deciding that both of them having sex change operations at the same time will get the creative juices going again?! Sounds a bit extreme, but I’m assuming that’s why they did it?!
