Not sure I could watch this. If I ever cringe at any past things I’ve done, I remember those music videos that they’d do which they thought were funny/ cool and it puts everything in perspective.

It's about the death of their first guitarist so it only goes up to 1990 or something, so most of the music you hear is muffled records of them in a bar which is actually a huge improvement. Flea seems very normal, I'm not sure why they put up with him. He sounds like the crazy frog on most songs

Needs a fresh approach.

There`s a load of " Tartan Noir crime " out there, which was inspired by the likes of Rebus, but with massive doses of dry Scottish gallows humour, which I`m surprised hasn`t been developed yet.

The likes of the author Stuart Macbride and his Detective Logan Macrae series, all based in a fictional Scottish city, which is very obviously Aberdeen.

Yeah maybe. I almost never watch crime shows, but Harry Hole is like a national treasure. The show actually made me want to find a truly great one. So if there's any recommendations for a dark and tense murder investigation show, let me know (I've seen True Detective season 1, and realize I'll probably never find anything as good).

Oh, I've seen the Scandinavian versions of The Killing and The Bridge, as well as the Swedish "Millenium trilogy". Very good indeed. The rest of the recommendations are new to me, so thanks!

This made me think about Mindhunter. What I'd give for another season of that.
