I would temper this thread by contending that there is very little pressure on Ancelotti to perform at present.

Let’s see where we are twelve months from now.

Just to add context I've begrudgingly accepted that lot will win the league anyway.

But as Leicester have cropped up in conversation, I was made up they got pumped last night.

Horrible, horrible, dirty, little tory rats the firm that follow them.

Sometimes theres stuff bigger than football.

Feels like at the moment our city and the wider area is alone against the rest of the country idealogically.

So I for one was glad the 'feed the scousers, s*n reading, no marks got a good hiding.

I'd still rather they beat liverpool. Further, I do not associate liverpool with our city anymore.

lol no he wasn't sidelined, he signed off on every single transfer as the director of football. It doesn't matter who Koeman picked or scouted, every single transfer was negotiated and closed off by Walsh. He's responsible for us spending £45m on Gylfi Sigurdsson and £28m on Yannick Bolasie.

Lookman is absolute gash too by the way.
At least we made some sort of profit on Lookman, the others just players on the way down.

fine you don't like Tories. I don't give a [Poor language removed] about anyone's political beliefs when it comes to Everton. I just want to win. So sling your hook with ya personal opinions. Aye that's grand, what we all really wanna know is, are we gonna win the league?

I lived near there for some considerable time and I can say that they (Leicester people) are amongst the nicest people I have met outside of Liverpool area. They only really voted Tory because the Bexit issue, but then so did whole swathes of the UK.

Don't let your jealousy of their achievements of the last few years colour your judgement of basically good folks. There is hardly a support base that visits that don't sing that stupid song, or many others. Their team gave us a footballing lesson only earlier this month in the first half, we clawed our way back into the game, but they were fundamentally better than us.

I can never enjoy or even condone the RS giving someone a good hiding, the implication of that is I am happy they did it. I hope those rotten *****inappropriate language here**** RS lose every game, every time, always.

It will happen I hope but too early yet,I still see this as silvas team but since he’s gone it’s his team giving a lot more than they have all season, and playing a formation better suited to them.3 really tough away games on the bounce coming up will really show ancelotti what’s needed.I trust that he will do a good job with us in time

A footballing lesson? I don't know where you come from mate, we've had some fine teams visit us over the years. Leicester giving us a footballing lesson? How many titles have they won again? This is what happens when you let the lunatics out of the asylum.

You are were you are because of the incompetence of others.

I can assure you I am not jealous of Leicesters fleeting recent achievements.

Also brexit is not a valid excuse for voting in the current set of crooks, but thats a whole different tedious debate.

Not one of us wants them to win. But if you live your life hoping they lose every game, it's just a complete waste of energy.

As you say focus on us.

Well I was actually at the match watching the game at Goodison and in the first half they were distinctly miles better than us.

I was talking about one match and we have never won the Premier League, they have. Yes over history they are miles behind us, but you can't take away the trophy to suit your argument, incidentally a trophy we have never won.

I was born in Liverpool mate, so don't start with such silly antics - I know we have had some good teams visit, I have seen most of them, but in that first half they showed our current team how the game should be played. Sometimes you just have to be honest. And actually you are where you are though your own endeavour.

And please don't call me a lunatic, I am equally mad when the sun shines,

Well it is a forum so personal opinions kind of go with the territory.

I'm sure if I'm being overly political the mods will warn me.

Jesus we need chico back in here to root out a few park end tories :coffee:

That in no way justifies voting in the most rabid right wing government we have ever had.

Sod them....and the Tory horse they rode in on.

They were singing about “Cutting the NHS” at the cup tie.

(I still wish they had beaten the RS though :))
