We bid for Gago!!!!!

I didn't know that

Ghost may be right, and he may not be.

We shall see

Lack of preparation has cost us more than anything.

There are players out there and they don't all cost 10-20 million. Moyes will be disappointed, he's said that himself.

Well we have just signed a wide man to play on the left or right, we have Pienaar who can play left or right. We all agree Osman is a better player in the middle, Fellaini is gathering momentum. Rodwell is passing the ball around like Pele in 1970, and Arteta is due back any day. Oh and we have Cahill also.

So with only 2 spots available for the middle, who do we need to replace?

Were not Spurs, we don't buy 10m player to leave on the bench.

Cahill and Fellaini are not at their best playing CM, Rodwell is 18 years old and while we agree Osman is better in the middle, I certainly dont agree hes good enough to play CM in the premiership week in, week out, he lacks something.

So for me, we still need a proper replacement or partner for Arteta.

And we had over £40m of players on the bench last game mate and I would say at the moment, Spurs postion is a decent place to be in.

Well we will all find out soon enough. One thing for certain is that this club can't operate a profit based on heritage.

Steps have been taken to eradicate some of the crap that Wyness created and Dunford before him.

Everton 2 is a great store and really impresses me, as does all of the merchandise in there. It's usually trampy and tacky, well it was in Chester and Birkenhead - but that store is excellent, and I love the retro kits coming back and the prints also. It's all good stuff and going in the right direction.

The marketing materials, the typeface and the designs are excellent also and they finally seem to have got it sorted. We've gone from Parkinson holding a pie to Rodwell looking [Poor language removed] hot with pink neon trails emiting from his person.

Steps are going in the right direction both off the field and on it. The stadium is the white elephant in the room and it can't be dismissed as not being a factor.

But we are not there yet. Realistically this is as good as it gets, for now. Just don't give up.

Things are going in the right direction, there's nothing wrong with demanding more though, having a bit of ambition.

Moyes had the same ambition, with it being so late (lack of preparation, the Lescott deal) he just couldn't deliver that centre midfielder we all wanted. Lets not pretend it was too much to ask (one more player) because it wasn't.

It's disappointing and I can see why people are moaning but it's not the end of the world.

He went for Banega though mate, and they ****ed us over, probably held us to ransom.

Banega isn't the only player in world football who we could have signed.

Anyway, it's getting boring now. People have different opinions to you, accept it, call them 'melts' and move on.

I think it's a good discussion. I can see why people are frustrated, but I know loads of Evertonians who only have 1 view on things and that view is doom and gloom, and they refuse to maybe think about things, and try and understand what is going on.

But if it's boring you, then don't post here.

Fair enough.
