End of NATO if two of its members spark off... Still the odds are stacked against Turkey, in maritime law and the many other countries that have vested interest in region, Egypt Israel etc. Anyway diminishing returns fossil fuel (Gas).

I wouldn’t be too sure. Turkey is the gateway for the Russian fleet out of the Black Sea, NATO needs Turkey on side. I agree that the Law is stacked up against Turkey and without doubt they will just open the doors for refugees if the EU takes sides. Militarily, Turkey would roll straight over Greece unless stoped by NATO, the US or EU.

Bosphorus straight is used by Russian navy, it's only if Turkey feel milatray threatened can they block access or war is declared, (go figure). So going to war with Greece annoys Putin even more than they already have over Syria... So in essence Erogdan will annoy EU NATO US and Russia by shooting Greeks, it's not a clever move.

Another one worth watching is Egypt v Ethiopia. Ethiopia have just about completed a massive dam in the Nile which Egypt doesn't like because it will reduce the amount of water they get (The Nile provides Egypt with about 90% of its clean water).
Ethiopia want to fill the dam over 6 years, Egypt want them take up to 21 years.

One of these is going to come to blows, my guess being Greece and Turkey, because Greece will believe that the EU will back it up.....

Greece and Turkey sabre rattle all the time, it's what they do.
It's such a shame Harry Maguire doesn't have a Turkish granny, they'd have banged him up for life.
