Training Questioned

Our players never look tired near the end of games, apart from when we play a lone striker and then clearly hes gonna tire.

Agendas still all over the place.

Agendas is right Goat.

And the one's doing the spouting haven't got a clue what they're talking about.

Anichebe's been warned over his conduct before. Has been lazy and its no surprise to me he's had "mysterious injuries".

Although in an act of faith the lad would grow up he's been given a final chance.

His professionalism needs to increase though. He's not 19 any more.

As for the "Get Jol in" people claiming Moyes is maiming the players. GET REAL.

id lov to see WTF they do in a trainin session just to put my mind at ease

had to laugh last week when ROUND came out and pubicly praised MOYES for practisin most of the week on the free kick that we scored vs NEW....correct me if im wrong but wasnt it just a ball into an area in between their keeper and defenders, an area the ball should be played into if you dont hav big tall players to aim for ????????

yet our corners in general are terrible ?????? id lov to see those sessions

ok then. whats the deal with our shooting. its been conspicuous in its absence for years under moyes. goal scoring chances are few and far between at the moment but unlike other teams who are `limited to shots from distance`, we happily go about our business creating zero, if nothing else it gets the crowd going

We scored with a long range shot last night and osman also had a couple long range attempts saved by foster. Just sayin'.

what are you `just sayin`? that we are shooting regularly? coz thats news to me. we tap it from side to side for hours without having a pop - for years. playing a nice keep-ball game has back fired big time

I agree with the general sentiment, just seems odd that you would wish to highlight it after last night, when we had 9 shots on target, 4 of which were from outside the area, heitingas goal, ossie,s 2 efforts and i think beckfords low shot in the first half. I dont think not shooting was the reason we didnt take all 3 points last night. Foster made some good saves plus we didnt get on the end of some great balls by baines from his corners, one of which should have been a pen when ridgewell tried to have anal with saha.

You've just owned him there. Sensational stuff.

Oh and the stuff about "keep ball".

Why is it with this zed person that they want one extreme to another?

Yesterday at times there was too much long ball, and then at others too much keep ball.

But then again, poor player decision making's all Moyes fault. "Get Jol in" etc etc.

Theses Get Jol In jokers make me laugh they really do.

I just think our training is basically just training, as in fitness and ball control etc, there's no special tactics for attacking or set pieces, Prob like most teams in the prem, like when it comes to fee kicks it's all about the "Glory goal" from 30yds out like a Beckham style, it's only the teams that are lower in the league like the new comers to the prem that seem to do any cool practised setpiece. I'm like WTF! whats happend to all the teams sorting out some good training methods, no-one seems to do it these days and we're one of them.

As for our play, we we all know the Hoofing and pin ball crap is annoying and we tend to do that now and again but when we play on the ground we look awesome, it's just as soon as we get near the box we run out of ideas, and most of the time we try to pass it around in the box and try to get something from it, when instead we should of taken the damn shot ages ago, it's so damn frustrating....It's as if Moyes has got signs everywhere at Finch farm saying "No shooting outside the area!!!" and it's been drummed into their heads, the only time we do is when we get frustrated or someone who doesnt speak english too well like Bily (coz he couldn't read the signs) smashes one in the top corner.
Another thing that annoys me is, how manytimes a cross has come in from Baines and they clear it but no-one is by the "D" area of the 18yrd box?? Coz half the time the ball lands near there and someone could smash it like Heitinga did yesterday!! I could go on forever but it's getting late and i need my sleep lol

I agree with you. On the whole we must commit fewer people into the box than any other team in the Prem. When we play with a lone striker we very often don't even have Saha in their area! Yet, in the United game for example, we flooded the box and scored two goals in no time. We're the most fouled team in the league and yet we haven't had a penalty all season. I think the reason for that is purely because we don't get the ball to feet for a man in the box on a regular enough basis. EB's analysis showed that our central midfielders played a combined total of 1 pass into the area last night.

i was sooooooo owned its untrue.hahahaha fabtastically. so after one game we are the shootingest team around. Matt -you are a joke.its true we are totally injury prone -so can methods of training be questioned without whiffs like you piping on about replacing moyles. also we DONT SHOOT ENOUGH - FAHCT- pointing to ONE game smacks of desperation and the glee youve seemingly shown from it is SENSATIONAL
