They are only 4 points behind though, they have closed in by 5 in the last 4 games alone. I think West Ham can get to about 34-35 this season if things go their way, the question is can Spurs manage that given they haven't won in 2026 yet?

They're 4 points behind with a significantly worse goal difference, so West Ham need to overturn a 5 point gap. That means West Ham need to score 1.2 points for every point that Spurs score.

Not saying it won't happen and I'd laugh my arse off if Spurs go down, but it's a big task for West Ham.

Spurs will brown underpants it for a few more games and then escape to a boring finish is my prediction. Can't see them beating Atletico in the CL.

We’re Everton bigger than Spurs pre war titles- yes. Are Everton bigger than Spurs currently and in balance over both clubs history - no chance. A couple of flashes in the pan in the 30’s and 80’s then 1 FA cup in 40 years. I see the clubs equally and I would imagine most neutral fans would also.

We have had a consistent drip of titles through our history, up until recently of course.

I still believe you'll be safe because I can see West Ham slipping up a few times. Still, your fixtures against Forest, Wolves and Leeds are massive.

Two wins there out of the three, coupled with a win and/or draws elsewhere, would probably push you into a position with a nice cushion.

Their fans, like many others, were laughing at us during our flirt with relegation. So yes, I do take enjoyment out of this. Luckily for them West Ham and Forest are equally as bad

Only 22/23 really, last two seasons we’ve been well clear and in 21/22 Burnley were in it until the final day.
