They'd much rather go for a name manager who hasn't dealt with relegation because they think the players and team are better than it is.

They wouldn't touch a Dyche etc because it'll sully the brand.
A manager that also falls out with the clubs
an International break without time to work with players.

That would be a massive sum of money to convince him to possibly add relegation to his CV
 
Are you sure? The records show 1, for Burnley in 2015. They were in the relegation zone when he was sacked in 2022. Cannot find another one.

Yeah I’m sorry, the fact he was so bad they had to sack him before the end of the season to try and save their skins doesn’t absolve him of that relegation. If we went down in 2023 would you have accepted Lampard saying technically he didn’t relegate us?

Depends if we brought in Tudor or RDZ rather than someone who actually could keep us up
