Do you reckon Dele Alli will ever get back to where he was H?

If he stops being a Billy Bigbollox I think he will.
Even though it wasn't competitive matches, in pre season he has looked good and hopefully he stops trying to do little tricks all the when he receives the ball and just gets back to playing the game simply.

Not a chance. We're going to be woefully underprepared, but it's perfectly understandable as we've been trying to make good signings and have succeeded.

Nailed on defeat, this, which is far from the end of the world. If we get anything out of it, it'll be a huge bonus and a pretty awful result for Spurs.
Don't come the old double-negative bluff on here, mate. Ain't nothing means are something. I'm an ex-Spurs supporting north Londoner so am used to those wily ways.

As it was in reply to the above paulbefc's bluff post I was just giving the same back ;) .

P.S. Have you changed the team you support?

Fair do's for admitting you were bluffing, but I wasn't bluffing and have no reason to. It's a great opportunity for Spurs and a bit of a free hit for us. I'd prefer we were better prepared, but in the circumstances, it's understandable.

So really, we're in agreement. Best of luck for Sunday. ;)

Lo Celso has been been the invisible Man in preseason. Tanganga also out.

Hopefully we will.have another body in by next weekend. Ollie Watkins? Who knows.

No best of luck back to you :p

Do you think Alli over Son in terms of impact this season>

As I've already had two warnings about posting "Off Topic" when answering questions I'm a bit worried answering this question in here but as it's the Everton Spurs thread, hopefully I'm ok?

To answer your question.
Judging on the last 12 months there is not a chance of Dele having a bigger impact than Son but as I said above, if Dele starts keeping it simple I think he can get back he's brilliant form of two seasons ago.

Thanks mate. Sorry I wasnt trying to take you off topic. I think given it's a thread with Everton V spurs, and we are discussing 2 opposing players it is a reasonable enough oint for you to make.

Edit- I'm not a mod though, so obviously it's up to them.

I was 10 when I started supporting Everton. That was in 1963 when I saw a golden vision. Before then I was kind of a Spurs fan but not a die hard obviously.

My comment was tongue-in-cheek by the way. I still have a soft spot for Spurs.
