If ever there was a nailed on win for Everton this is it.

You spend enough time on this forum to know there is no such thing. The more nailed on the win the more likely we disappoint.

I don't think we start the game as favourites, I expect whatever the result you guys get on Wednesday you'll still be keen on ending the season at your new home on a positive note.

It's not the fact that you are confident of winning (which seems likely) it is the confidence that you will hammer us that I find interesting.

Most of our losses at home have been by one goal. There may have been two (?) That were by 2 goals.

We played Bournemouth away with 9 men for 45-50 mins and lost 1-0 to a last minute goal.

Thanks for the good wishes regarding the CL. I wouldn't say I am over confident but I am hopeful of the right result.
I said if we were to beat you by a couple of goals it could get nervy for you guys and that is true if it were 2-0 heading into the last 15 and Arsenal were also up a couple you would all be very nervous. That's not to say I'm expecting it. I don't know that I even expect us to get a result. We still have an inconsistent part of us.

Spurs are a busted flush, they've brought in no players that have improved them significantly in about two years.

They won't be in the top 6 next season. Vault me.

I'd be inclined to try Gomes, Siggy and Schniderlin as the midfield three here.
You want to leave out our only true DM , our only true ball winner , a player in magnify form away against a side in semi finals of the CL and who will need a win to secure CL football next season ??
I doubt Marco agreed

I think we can all agree that after a very poor patch - Everton 2 Spurs 6, remember - we have finished the season strongly. We should certainly be able to put up a better fight for seventh place. And Wolves will be caught up in the Europa League next season.

We could even narrow the gap between the top six and the rest, especially if Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United don't improve squads and their teamwork. And the top six have to compete in Europe too. We just need Calvert-Lewin to start scoring a few goals.
That last bit is the problem

We only need a point to make 100% certain of CL football. Even a 2 or 3-0 loss is probably ok.
