Sanchez could be out for weeks.

Injured? I see ozil wasnt playing again but nobody seems convinced he's injured. They're definitely within our sights now, they're in free fall, there's no togetherness and I don't think they'll get through that fa cup semi.

I just hope half their squad think they're off in the summer and down tools. Looks like they've done it already but I've thought that a few times recently and theyve still come back.

Last season's top 1 and 2 could finish outside the top 6. Reckon it's been a few years since thathe last happened

22-3 is our aggerate score in the last 6 home games, with all 3 goals conceded vs bournemouth meaning 5 clean sheets in those 6 and an avg. win of 3-0.

Not bad seeing as we've beaten a few decent teams in that run as well as a couple of relegation fodder.

Just need to translate that to the away form.

No.

Too many teams have games in hand and we still have several of the teams ahead of us in the table to play.

I think 7th is it for us this season.

Arsenal's run in: 4 of the top 7

Man City (H)
Spurs (A)
Man Utd (H)
Everton (H)

Liverpool's run in: 1 of the top 7*

Everton (H)

*Liverpool have struggled more against the bottom sides than the top sides this season so this could still be good for us

out of all those sides we are in the best run of form

we have 3 tough away games but so do Man utd

if we can get a result against utd at old Trafford we give ourselves a great chance of catching up to them for 6th, especially with utd being involved in 2 cup competitions as well, they also won the capital one cup so towards the end of the season their players will be very tired

arsenal are in turmoil at the moment, the players are not playing for their manager, they may have 3 home games but the way their team is playing at the moment they might not even win another game this season

United are the ones we can catch. They must play 9 games in 30 days in April and probably 6 more from May 1 to May 21 (end of season). If we don't lose there and we win our home games except Chelsea plus eg wins at West Ham & Swansea then we'll catch the Mancs.

Can't see us beating United at OT, they've not lost for ages in the premier league. We should be going for beating Liverpool and Arsenal. It's Everton though so you know exactly what will happen.

Those games in hand arent points on the board though mate, and there's a good reason why they arent necessarily a bad thing, Arsenal have the games in hand which are coming when the wheels are coming off them with Sanchez now possibly out for the season (the one Arsenal player who was still trying), Uniteds games in hand basically are causing them a massive problem ahead as they have a stupid amount of fixtures piling up with the continued games (up to 7 more) coming in the EL

As for playing the ones above us - in reality thats what a team would/should want, it's by far and away the best way to catch teams by having to play them, just for us we have a massive mental issue showing up to those 'big' away games...

Chelsea i hope already have the title wrapped up by the time they visit Goodison - and traditionally when they win the league they go on there summer holidays early

Arsenal luiterally have only two games left this season that i'd be shocked if they didnt win, home to sudnerland and away at Boro, every other one of those games looks an absolute nightmare for them the way they look atm

home - city, west ham, united, everton
away - palace, spurs, stoke

every one of those teams will either play aggressively against them (west ham, palace, stoke) be to physical for them (united and us) or just play them off the park (city, spurs)

If our form continues we will steamroll in. Even if it dips a little bit we still have a chance.

Man I hope you're right. I'd love to see us run the table on those teams and finish top five or even four but it's a tall order.

Oh God I know it us mate, but managers have trends, koemans is for his teams to finish very strongly - as we are atm, looking around at those above us, we certainly look fitter and stronger than arsenal, United and the rs, and that gives us a huge chance, now it's on us to perform in a big away game, koeman in his time at saints managed to get some good wins away at these teams.
