Top Four Possibility

We've got a relatively benign run of fixture between here and the end of March, with only Spurs as a fixture to worry us. In the same time, Man Utd have some hard league games, plus 3 cup competitions to occupy themselves with.

We could go to Anfield and Old Trafford at the start of April in a decent position. Got to take each game at a time though, as Everton have a long track record in recent years of getting into positions of promise and choking when the pressure is on. At the moment, pressure is largely off and we're playing well. When the pressure/expectations are on, it may be different. Lets see.

Well written, everything stated above but I also believe the clubs mind set is being changed with the recent impressive wins against Arsenal and Man City.

If we beat Stoke tonight, were only 7 points off 4th and given the recent form of the sides ahead of us apart from Chelsea, is 4th place achievable as currently were the most inform team in the league.

Highly unlikely.......but not beyond the bounds of possibility.

I definitely fancy we will overhaul at least one of those teams ahead of us though.

Another thing to remember.

We are talking about a victory tonight putting us within seven points of the team in fourth place.

It would also put us just eight points off the team in second place.

But first we need to win tonight.....then the hunt is really on ;)

I'd fancy us to match United tbh and I feel it should be our aim to reel them in over the course of the rest of the season.

....I think the Reds will be looking over their shoulder at United and City. It would be a consideration if we weren't in catch up or had points in hand but I can't see us finishing above United.

Manage that then you'd overtake Liverpool and city as well as pretty sure United will overtake both by seasons end.
Im yet to be convinced by united. If them lot over there continue to tailspin I obviously wouldn't complain. City are too good an attacking force I personally believe to finish above.

For me it should be the aim, I'll forgive us not quite getting there if we push them.

City will drop a lot of points mate. The formulae is there and it works unless there on fire up front in a game.
