Don't know all his views I've got to be honest.

Naysayers will disagree but i think the pressure he put on the police helped to accelerate and in some cases initiate investigations into the racist paedophile gangs.

It's forgotten now or maybe people just try to rewrite history. But the sentiment that obtained at the time was that the accusations were racist and shouldn't be looked in to. Not by kooky fringe on the extreme left that was a mainstream belief.

A channel 4 documrntsry was cancelled for that exact reason.

So theres that.

Islam is deeply flawed with violence at its core. It literally has no place in modern society and is the biggest barrier to world peace.

The misogyny and homophobia that runs through the book is known by most and scarcely needs to be mentioned.

This is given a pass by many on the left for some unfathomable reason. Imagine UKIP got in and they made homosexuality a capital offence. And said women had to wear face masks and could be beaten by Their husbands.
It would be weird.

There is still hate preaching in mainstream mosques and he does his best to expose that. But like with the rape gangs hes called racist.

When the actual racists are allowed to preach their hate without censure.

Im basically opposed to the far right extremism that Islam preaches. If islam was a 'white' religion it would be an uncontroversial stance.

Have you read the Quran? I suggest not.

Do you know its teachings?

Or are you just regurgitating what the media (those generally against Muslims) teaches and shows you.

Do you know any Muslims or have you talked to any of them about their teachings and understanding of their own faith.

If you had you would realise that the majority if Muslims do not believe in violence. Their teachings based on their book the Quran teaches violence only in self defense because when it was written they were at siege.

Many Muslims do not practice this nor do they read too much into it.

Terrorism is obviously bad and there are those of the Islamic faith who take things to the extreme but is that any different to Christians in the past?

Every religion has its flaw and its extreme views. The more modern aggression from religious group just happen to be the extremists who use their religion to justify their means nothing new there. I am not justifying what they do or who they are but you cannot tar an entire group based on a minority of people or simply because some of them follow their faith way too seriously. Again no different to some of the Christians groups that are around today especially here in the US. Or if you want some Catholics and their views.

Christians were at one point also abusive to their women and very primitive with their views on certain things. Some Christians still are primitive in their beliefs.

Why would you not perceive them to do so?

They can't not if they follow Islam. It's an uncomfortable truth but it is what it is.

For the same reasons that I wouldn’t perceive all Catholics to be sexist on the basis of their religion not permitting women to be priests. For me it will happen in time and people are well aware that it doesn’t sit right.

It’s dangerous to blanket everyone as blindly following every facet of their creed.

How exactly does he put pressure on the police when he can only protest at trials ALREADY TAKING PLACE? I.e. the police have done their part.

The rape gangs not being collared earlier being due to misguided PC isn’t exactly a creation of cretin boys imagination either, it was from an official report.

It's hard to remember (accept?) but there really was the notion that those accusations were baseless racism just stoking up division. Hundreds of children were abused by thousands of savages because we were too scared to look racist.

It's deeply uncomfortable.

There's a difference in the religions. It's uncomfortable for people as they think it makes them racist so they engage in this deflection technique.

Even if they were the same there's only one religious group killing other people in the name of their religion.

My point still stands that you cant just label every Muslim as being an advocate of everything contained in the Koran, same as you can’t attach the same to a Christian for all of the bigotry described in the bible.

Id be fascinated to know what the moral difference between killing in the name of your religion and killing people because of their religion is ? For example just look at what's happening in Myanmar where muslims are being killed by budhists because of their religion. Is that somehow less bad than someone who kills in the name of their religion ?

Sure go with fashionable that works for you i guess. That not even true. Do yourself a favor and don't pretend you are brushed up on the wrongs of religion and in particular the wrongs in Christianity go look your history up. You will be pleasantly surprised.

The problem is people never go back far enough to equate the similarities among religious groups especially when it comes to hate crimes and violence. Christians have their fair share of it. did you know that in the US that statistically Christians have cause more deaths due to hate and terror type events.

I am guessing you are from England? look up your own country's attempt to convert natives in the lands they conquered or took control off.

Many other nations and lands have fought religious wars based on their differences on Christianity or their hate for the locals not being christian.

As for the highlighted given that i have read it and two of my good friends are Muslim and we speak about it i bet that just isnt true.

Its disingenuous and taken out of context. given there are more words to that paragraph and the follow up explains it. If you want to look it up its verse 5:32 in the quran.

Sorry you are full of it and sound like a sound bit for the man that is the topic of conversation for this thread. Its this fear and rationalization to justify racism that many have that you have fallen for.

All religions are bad if followed incorrectly or when differences occur.

With Catholic priests touching children?

What's mad is when it comes to non christian religions the other are relatively straightforward. Whereas when one christian doesn't agree with another they create a new religion based on what they believe to be the righteous christian path.
