Looks like he’s struggling to be honest. Gives the ball away loads and misplaces passes all over the pitch. Like every other player at the moment I suppose.

Relying far to heavily on this young lad to control out attacking intent centrally. He is still learning and shouldnt be relied upon to help link the midfield on his own. We bought so many central players, we should have been able to rest him and pick and choose which games to use him. Just turns out everyone bought except pickford gave been gash.

Looks to have had his form dragged down by the team. We should all get on his back until he starts playing better or decides he needs to leave...

Once he had that lovely piece of skill and shot in the box last night - Atalanta changed to have two players marking him while we were in possession... you could see him getting extremely frustrated as a result.

To me, looks a proper player... hope he's in our team for the next 15 years.

Every young player can have a dip in form. Hes not stopped showing when others have hid. He needs someone to have a word with him to take a bit of step back. Conceding too many fouls as hes trying too hard which makes me wonder what the rest of the team are doing.

Does something very few of our squad do and that is close down opposition and challenges. Him, Gana and Beni should be the midfield.

His passing and composure on the ball has been abysmal this season. Lots of it down to being extremely casual and sloppy as well. If it's complacency then I actually despair at modern footballers.

Blinded by youth, aren't we?

He was absolutely terrible last night, and I can't remember the last time he actually put in a decent performance for us.

Last season against man city :p

Bournemouth at home, he created our first goal with a brilliant disguised pass to Niasse and was heavily involved in the creation of the second goal, as well as being the catalyst for our improved second half performance in that game.

He is one of the few decent players of 2017, and he's only 19. I'd personally be quicker to criticize the responsibility avoiding, monstrous wage earning senior players, but not Davies. Davies deserves patience and support.
