Can't believe he got taken off

I could as he was visibly tiring, but tbh the same could be said for Rooney and even knackered both were doing far more than Siggy was.

My worry before the game was how we would get up the pitch but he set the tempo getting up there all game .think he was tiring though

He should be starting, I was saying to my mate before the game that he should start in front of snides. Okay they both started with gana and it seemed to work well. I would of started DCL to run off him as well but it's all good and well being a manager from your sofa

This fella is amazing.

Not hyped as much as Rooney and Barkley were but so much more valuable. We need to just focus on keeping him forever at EFC, and see that one day he lifts trophies for us, even if its 5-10 years from now he has to be the main man

Good to see Tom getting a bit of form back in his game, played well against United and again last night. In the starting 11 for Saturday hopefully.

He should be ahead of Klaasen and Sandro every game, at least until they find some form. He's involved in everything, even on Sunday when he ended up as our centre forward most of the time. He has both the defensive and attacking part of the game we need at the moment, rather than one or the other.

Much more influential than iceberg.

So much energy and very dynamic which we desperately need. Vlasic, Davies willingness to run with the ball open up far more possibility for the team than iceberg and klassen combine.

Koeman needs to realise this as soon as possible.

Tom reminds me a lot of a young Colin Harvey, he has a bit of everything about his game and never stops trying. I well remember Colin breaking into the side in mid 60's it was immediately clear that he was going to be a player. Yes, he had his bad spells between 64 and 67, but the Cat perserved with him and took him out of the team from time to time but from 68 onwards he was one of the the top 3 midfielders in the country, the other 2 played for Everton as well.

He will have his ups and downs over the next couple of seasons, but, if he keeps his feet on the ground, he is going to be one very special player.

When Davies plays we play better. Therefore expect him to be out of the squad come Saturday.
