He came in the team when Gueye was away on international duty, his problem is now Gueye and Snides seem to be the first choices, but I think they are both to defence minded, Toms more attack minded which I like if he gets his chance I see him being a Bryan Robson type player, a type of player we could definitely do with.

He'll definitely get plenty of game time with the amount of matches we've got. It's just awkward for him to find a regular slot with us having so many number tens and a midfield duo that look like nailed on starters.

He should come in today. Doesn't lack confidence, he'll be buzzing about with his pads around his ankles. Great player, great attitude.

Mad how he has been dropped, wouldn't surprise me if hes back playing for the U23s like Lookman. Koeman needs to leg it.

This season I wanted to see Davies, Lookman, DCL and Holgate used quite a lot to try and get them regular first teamers, IMO giving the youth game time is the way forward, but I'm getting concerned now they just aren't going to get the game time if it's up to Koeman. I just hope I'm wrong.

To be honest he hasn't bombed on from the impact he made when he burst onto the scene last season. He looks like shackles have been put on him...that's the only way I can describe it...

Is that down to Keoman or just second season syndrome??

It's just down to the fact he's not as good as some made him out be. I see a neat and tidy player with plenty to offer the squad, not a potential superstar.

I like Davies and Lookman. Both are promising but I can understand why they're not in the starting XI week in week out. I think too often people want the team loaded with younger lads when the reality is it wouldn't be doing them or us any favours.

He looked like a superstar when he was pressing forward when he burst onto the scene last season...however when he has been asked to play wing back he doesn't look so effective I agree.

I think it's a case of trying to get as many goal threats on the pitch as possible towards the end. Can understand why Davies was subbed from that point of view.

I thought he was starting to tire tbh mate but delighted to see him back in today becsuse when he goes chasing the ball it just pushes all the players up an extra 5 yards
