Thought he was ok to be honest. Made a few mistakes but we looked far more attacking than we ever did last week. If DCL wasn’t a pub player he’d have an assist as well.

That sequence of misplaced passes that went out of play sums him up for me,those passes were easy and under no pressure and he still couldn't get those right.

He works hard though right.

Yeah let's focus on all of the negatives and none of the positives to develop a rounded opinion shall we.

If Dom could finish he would've finished with an assist but let's forget that because it doesn't suit your point.

Compare that performance from Davies today to Arteta 10 years ago. When you say played well, he retained possession. His actual impact on the game was minimal.

You’ve just compared him to the best midfielder we’ve had in the premier league era mate.

You’re clearly expecting too much from him.

Truth is he played well today. There shouldent even be a debate.

You want to compare somebody to arteta then have a look at our record signing in Sigurdsson who yet again had no impact on the game.

Again, not the truth at all.

That´s the standard if you want to worry any of the top 6 teams. Davies is playing a position in midfield where he should be dictating the game. He´s quite clearly not. Fulham will absolutely rubbing their hands if he starts next week. Then again, the biggest problem is there is actually nobody to replace him.

Played well? In the first half he wasn't even on the pitch. In the second he got involved more but most of the times I missed his "absence" from the first part of the game after his awful decisions. He is also the one to blame for the first goal, if he cleared the ball better or didn't lose the duel after it bounced back to him we would be fine.

If that was a "good" performance from Davies, the problem is not that people expect too much from him, it's more that people have become desensitised to his overwhelming awfulness
