There’s Everton fans still supporting Tom Davies even though he hasn’t done anything meaningful for us for about 4 seasons. I don’t know where this utter myth has started that the crowd ruins young players.
Ross Barkley ruined himself but every other young player that’s come through has been given more game time at Everton than they probably could have expected at any other premier league team. Jonjoe Kenny was still getting minutes last season and even though he was on a one man mission to relegate us the crowd still didn’t turn on him.
To be honest I think that's just his family, but I expect half of them have even gone quiet on the 'Davies' front now...
