Tom Cannon

Saw him for 10 mins in the Premier League and he made a more intelligent run than any of our other strikers all season, looked a different type to Maupay.
I can see him going on loan in Jan if Dom is fit.
I thought Dobbin looked a real prospect, when I saw him play about half an hour at Chelsea, yet I don’t remember seeing him again! We’ve loaned him to Derby, so maybe I just saw him on a good night?! His pace seemed a genuine problem for the Chelsea defenders though! Based on the 10 minutes you saw Cannon play, I say keep him at all costs! Perceptions can be very wrong, when we only see young players get the odd cameo. But it is clear we are a team with little threat, so actually give the kid a chance. If Dom isn’t up to it, give him a run in the team ffs! Not just a cameo, then sent out on loan! 4 or 5 back to back starts at least, or what chance does he have? If he isn’t good enough, then fair enough, but unless we sign a decent striker, surely it’s time to find out?!

Won't really know mate until he's chucked in the deep end and given a go.

No one can be compared to Rooney, he was a completely different animal.

Thing with Cannon is he's a good grafter, makes decent runs and drags defenders out with him. Sometimes takes shots that just aren't there to be taken but just keeps plugging away. Has scored some crackers as well tbf.

He is literally our only fit number nine and he's a kid just give him the game versus city can he do any worse than Maupay for me Maupay isn't even an out and out centre forward he's a split striker or number ten
