What the hell is Chamakhs hair? Seriously. God knows how but somehow it gets worse and worse each week. Surely everyone takes the piss out of him in the dressing room. Saying that he's probably got an incredible girlfriend.

Good win for palace btw think they might survive which is a miracle considering they were dead and buried just a month ago.

They had virtually no chance of winning the league, now absolutely none, and we could bury them deep in the Derby.

Not sure what the fuss is about lids

They've always had at least one stellar player since the 60s to rely on and with Gerrard on his last legs and hopefully Suarez away this really could do for them.

We live in hope.

yeah but they were always a top name in europe. they're not atm, they're hardly ever in europe at all thesedays, let alone in the premier competition.

what striker could they attract even close to the ability of suarez? struggling to think of one.

I know mate. According to Opta stats we would have 8 more points by now if Chamakh's barnet wasn't quite so dodgy. Not sure we've ever been "dead and buried". The worst we've been all season is 4 off safety and that was early November. There was a general consensus developing at one point that we were going to be the worst Premier League team ever and would be down before the harvest was in but I honestly never felt that. It is true that Pulis has got us more organised as a unit but he has also transformed some individual players either by instilling confidence or simple coaching which I honestly believe he is better at that a lot of people give him credit for. We have a chance now, but still horribly tight. Need some quality up front desperately to help Chamakh who has been superb all season.

Him and Shearer. What they were effectively doing was encouraging players to go down at the slightest contact. But the public poll put them in their place.

On the US coverage they came back and Robbie Earle said it was a pen but thankfully Robbie Mustoe, with disdain in his voice, said it was a bad dive. Glad someone has common sense and the balls to call what they see.

Shocking that 'punditry'. It amounted to 'the GK was in the vicinity of Suarez and therefore over-committed and therefore it was a pen'. With that Shearer divvy boss imbecile leading the other two idiots the way. They should hang their heads in shame.

PMSL when their own poll came back overwhelmingly that the rat had dived. Proper gob Lineker had on him.

Suarez chose to go down, probably because he realised that he was heading into a very tight angle but the goalie made it an easy decision for him. Why, oh why, do goalkeepers keep going to ground in those situations?

All the forward has to do is make sure there is contact and bingo, penalty. Stupid, stupid, stupid.
