I know mate. According to Opta stats we would have 8 more points by now if Chamakh's barnet wasn't quite so dodgy. Not sure we've ever been "dead and buried". The worst we've been all season is 4 off safety and that was early November. There was a general consensus developing at one point that we were going to be the worst Premier League team ever and would be down before the harvest was in but I honestly never felt that. It is true that Pulis has got us more organised as a unit but he has also transformed some individual players either by instilling confidence or simple coaching which I honestly believe he is better at that a lot of people give him credit for. We have a chance now, but still horribly tight. Need some quality up front desperately to help Chamakh who has been superb all season.

i'm not sure a team will ever rival derby's points haul again. not with the money in football these days and the amount teams get for getting relegated.

I don't want them to blow smoke up our arse's I just want them to frigging acknowledge that we are in with a shout like the other 3-4 teams around us

They were still talking about Liverpools title challenge last night ffs

chelsea will breeze it 2-0 with that being a flattering score for united, they've looked ****e in every single big league game i've seem them so far and that for them includes home games vs us and newcastle.

moyes will play for 0-0 with those two out

Then they will be able to spend all summer selling our best players to teams that finished below us. It will be amazing what reasons they come up with for Barkley having to move to Old Trafford.

That's what I meant mate, it's like we're not there, that's what annoys me.

That was pure hilarity that, I had to actually laugh at that. So if we win tomorrow from a two goal deficit, we're gonna with the league right?
 
anyway today's football, not yesterdays.

swans and chelsea wins will be perfect thanks.

spurs and united aren't close to us at all with regards to goal difference so not too bothered about margin of victory atm.
 
Amazing comeback from Lazio. 2-0 down with 10 men, win 3-2 at Udinese. Two goals in the last 8 minutes. Hernanes with a screamer to win it.
 
how i would love us to be playing spurs today.

back 4 of walker, chiriches, dawson and rose, would rip them apart. if vertonghan isn't playing when we got to WHL we're favourites.

AVB went way over the top by signing purely attacking players to compensate for bale, made all the more confusing by the way he decided to play tight defensive football.

shirewood doesn't have a clue, but he's just picking attacking teams and they've got so much quality in that area it means that's all he has to do.
 
Just looking at the table, mad that we're 20 points ahead of Swansea at this stage of the season. They be a pretty decent side and spent big in the summer!

doesn't help when you have your best player, your captain and GK out injured for most of the season like. williams has played games, but he's nowhere near fully fit.

also have had dyer and hernandez on and off injured and have played about 30 odd games already.

it's bound to happen to a team like that trying to compete in europe and league.
