Sad to see so many so called pundits trying to excuse the dive too.

Collymore is on one tonight though, boss tweet

Nice to see so many #LFC bloggers, fans giving out filthy abuse because your boy dived. Save it for him when he ****s off in June.

Fair dues to stan, he speaks sense when he needs to

well said collymore, fair play like.

he'll get absolutely lambasted for that, like as mentioned before, LFC is like a cult/religion which does not encourage free speech

Groucho.... stop it lad. I'm just blowing off some steam ok. I understand I've gotta curb the swearing but overlook some of it will you. Its understandable mate.

If I go the gym in this state, I'm going to go in bouncing, think I can bench press excess and do myself a bad one. An injury could put me out of typing, and we have a game in 2 days and I want to type on here.

So will you let it go, yeah.

hahaha

Cundy hates Liverpool fans too. Hopefully this is the start of a TalkSport vendetta on Libdapewelfubulklub and they really do have a media konspiraceeee to moan about.

Must be awful though watching your team get played off the park most weeks by averag teams... They must sit on the edge of their seats and pray Suarez gets them out of trouble ..... Never has a team been more reliant on 1 player.... It's crazy.

if i could be arsed i would be able to point out how utterly embarassing they are with regards to how much money each of their "squad" cost as well. off the top of my head, there's about 7/8 minimum that cost over £10m.

i can't wait for that cheat to leave the country (really hope he goes abroad). i'm intruiged to see how they'll cope without him, mid-table springs to mind, i don't trust rodgers to spend the money too wisely.

Agree- structure was in place at Swansea for him. Does that suggest where Liverpool are going, appointing a manager who finished 12th in the premiership and was sacked by Swansea or does it underline how little British managers of the quality of yesteryear are currently in the game? It also highlights the point that there are a number of fantastic British managers plying their trade in the lower divisions, ignored by the club they manage. Same with the national team- club stature overpowers talent and quality IMO these days. Liverpool, to be fair to them, took a gamble appointing rodgers and who knows it may work but for me he has been shown up as an out of depth, poor tactician, reliant on one player and the financial potency the Kopites possess.
The bolded is very true, especially the managers bit. It's almost like there's this crazy requirement that unless you get your team from L1 to the Prem in 3-4 years you're not good enough to be a Prem manager.

Edit: For all it's worth - Moyes came from Preston, who weren't really doing a fantastic job, and faired well in stabilising us.

Arsenal fan on RAWK just pulled his kecks down and **** in their porridge with this on Rodgers:

"he's a good manager, can obviously motivate players and play a good system.. I just think he seems a bit.. vain perhaps? He's too into himself, wants to be seen as a 'top manager' .... there was a bit of a cringeworthy moment in Being Liverpool where they showed his massive picture of himself on his wall at the office and I think it twigged at that point. I think he's going to be a good manager as he develops, but has got to stop this inferiority complex which makes him think he needs to play 4-2-4 against Villa and blow them out of the water for people to see him for the top manager he thinks he is."

Pretty decent call.

They've always had at least one stellar player since the 60s to rely on and with Gerrard on his last legs and hopefully Suarez away this really could do for them.

We live in hope.
