One last word on Ajax.I thought they were a breath of fresh air in this competition.Knocking out Real Madrid and Juventus, and they were 1 minute away from the final! It's been some campaign, going back to the qualifying rounds last July.Hopefully they can get over tonights disappointment quick enough, and secure the league title.Ajax just seemed to run out of gas, in that second half.

As for Spurs, it wasn't so long ago that we were rivals with them.I think we have to use their story as our inspiration. They were outside the elite, but they broke into it, and now they're in a champions league final.Which hopefully they will win now.I still think that Ajax fans can be proud of their side. But it was Spurs night.

I think so too. Poch knows what to expect, Ajax might have been too naive
Now with them teams in the final we will be humiliated who ever wins, spurs until recent years was our yard stick (won’t be anymore if they win it) and the reds for obvious reasons. I hate football.

I won't be humiliated at all, two very good sides playing in the final, both a long way better than us. But football changes. Spurs have shown what can be done with a bit of structure, efficiency, belief in a system and a forward thinking manager. Liverpool have shown what can be done when you spooge thousands of millions up the wall for 30 years. Granted, I know which team I'd prefer to emulate, but this is football

I’m 50/50 my brother supports spurs so there’s always been a brotherly rivalry, I don’t live near Liverpool so I wouldn’t have to hear the reds chanting. So tbh I’m past caring, time will tell and we will get on with things.

We can’t even get ahead of the rubbish teams from 7th done, so it probably doesn’t matter to us one bit. We will be back to square one at Christmas with another new manager. Our latest results haven’t convinced me Silva is the right man for the job one bit.

Don’t worry about it.

We will rise or fall on our own merits.

Come On You Yids

Southerners supporting Liverpool. In other news, tomorrow I will breathe oxygen, exude carbon dioxide and take a pish as soon as I get up.
I know couple of Chelsea fans and they will be religiously supporting Liverpool in the final.

I'm pleased its an all prem final and possibly all four finalists in both European competitions.

Ajax looked far to naive defensively to trouble Liverpool and tbf Spurs on their form since the City games are struggling to beat anyone, West Ham and Bournemouth included but still beat Ajax.

They were very lucky they had only Ajax tonight but Liverpool are a class above either team.

If Kane is fit they have a small chance as he improves Spurs so much from the side that played Ajax, and they were competitive and perhaps should have won at Anfield recently.

So there is some encouragement there, but i do think Spurs need their injured stars back, althpugh Harry Winks looks like no chance, and only then could they hope to be a bigger challenge to Liverpool. One bonus is that Dele Ali looked far better than he has recently.
To be honest, even in the first half I was worried by how open Ajax were at the back. I'm still convinced that the only way to overcome this Liverpool team is by having the pace to push them backwards, but at the same time, they'd have a field day against any defence that's vulnerable to the long, straight balls that did for the Dutch tonight.

Hopefully, I'm doing Tottenham a disservice by judging them on past failures. They definitely have the physicality in their squad to stand up to Liverpool's bullying, but I wouldn't like to be relying on yet another heroic comeback on the night, given that Liverpool are the kings of this wild, chaotic style of football that has infected Europe.
