How can one hold a 3-0 lead and lost 4-0 in the second leg?

Horrible defending horrible manager.

I guess that’s the shortcoming of the so-called attacking football.

They should play 4-5-1 and played for a boring 0-0 draw away from home yesterday.

Want Ajax to win that.

Ajax have beaten....

A desperately poor Real Madrid side who have had the season from hell and no Ronaldo anymore.

A lacklustre, jaded Spurs without their star strikers Son and Kane but with Llorente haha but not the increasingly influential Harry Winks and further depleted by Vertonghen's injury.

Poch got his tactics badly wrong with 5-3-1 but the side had looked to have given everything they had left against City and have since been beaten by the mighty West Ham and Bournemouth. Spurs improved after changing formation but had no strikers worthy of the name and the desperately out of sorts Dele Ali.

These were not that impressive, but rather like fool's gold might give the impression of being more than they are.

Juventus was indeed notable but Liverpool are far better than them.

If Pochettino gets his players fit or at least some attacking prowess in Son, and possibly Kane if they reach the final, then they showed at Anfield recently that they can be very competitive.

That was a game they could and perhaps should have won but a late Lloris catastrophic howler gave Liverpool a chance to snatch the spoils very late on.

Liverpool will be favourites and tbf should beat either but i think Ajax will play right into their hands, Liverpool are really good as a pressing team in who will have them under all sorts of pressure, and while de Ligt is class he still nearly cost them about 4 goals in the last two CL games when being pressured by forwards into making a mistake, Liverpool's front 3 and Henderson would love to play Ajax imo

Tottenham are some of the biggest bottlers in a league where Liverpool have only lost once, and their goalkeeper and full-backs are clowns. I don't understand how anyone could have an ounce of faith in them.

Ajax would be massive underdogs, but they have young, athletic players that have shown an ability to go out and execute a game plan. Tottenham are just another gang of plodders that won't have the legs to cope with Liverpool's bullying pressing game.

June 1st might be quite a trial in our house. Son’s girlfriend is an Arsenal fan. Imagine knowing someone is going to be seriously unhappy about the winner of a Spurs v Liverpool final.

Who bottled their way to the CL semi final after getting 1 point in the first three games. And also bottled their way into the top 4 for a 4th straight season having played every game away for 1.75 seasons. And not having bought any players in 2-3 windows and being having the second lowest net spend in the PL over the last four years.

If we are bottlers I'm not sure what that makes every other team outside of LFC, MCFC and CFC.

Spurs know their game and have run them close this season. They'll still lose but I don't see them rollling over like Ajax will.

Never got the Spurs being bottlers thing tbf, surely Arsenal, United and Liverpool have been much worse bottlers over the last 4-5 seasons while having spend a massive amount more.
