Yes, his team were better but that's because he could spot a good signing and was always able to rebuild a competitive team in spite of losing star players every summer
Deila just hasn't managed that and the team don't play with half the heart that Lennon's did. Lennon could motivate and get the most out of the absolute least. And he did it while being under a much tenser atmosphere than Deila did. Deila might get a bit of stick from the red tops, but he's hardly getting bombs in the post
