There we go. My exact argument, summed up by the person who's arguing for against it. It's not that he's black. It's that he's not very good. So complaining about a "sad" day for football, because 2 black managers lost their job, is just pathetic, because end of the day, it's not about their skin colour, it's about their ability to do their job correctly.

15 games in and Brighton, under their black coach, certainly aren't complaining.

For a start, if you can find where I said it was a "sad day for football" that he (and Powell) got sacked, then good luck to you.

Secondly, your argument is that he was rubbish - which he might be, though it is difficult to prove when he (a) was performing to the goals set out at the start of the season (and which were changed after the transfer window closed) and (b) QPR are probably around where they deserve to be in that league, given that all the teams above them are better run, most have have better squads, and many have managers that have achieved more / are more experienced / are probably better (in Rowett's case) than him.

In short, you are slating him because he got a mid-table championship team with long-standing problems into mid-table in the Championship. I think his sacking was harsh, albeit one in a long line of idiot decisions made by the people who run that club. Powell's sacking was probably justified, though even there that club have had no ambition to do anything since they sold Rhodes.

Spurs play so much like Moyes's everton now. They aren't all Spursy in defense and difficult to play now. Its pretty much nailed on they'll be 5th-7th every single year under Pochiettino. On the other hand its pretty much nailed on that they'll be 5th-7th every year.
