Sky really shouldn't let ex players of certain teams comment on their previous clubs. Charlie Nicholas was trying to defend a 5-1 thrashing of Arsenal by saying that everyone expected them to get beat, while still saying that the Arsenal CB duo are better than the Spurs CB duo....it was just like Phil Thompson rabbiting on about the RS..........

Absolute disgrace that they are leaving it until the last minute to sack the other 3.

two fifths of the black managers in the football league got sacked today

If i hear this whole 'race' nonsense again, i'll go off my head. I've always had it against that Ramsey as soon as he mentioned something along the likes of 'It's hard being someone like me in football, nobody wants there to be black coaches'. No, not at all, I'd say at this present moment in time, that discrimination against Black people is at an all time low, quite frankly, I couldn't give a toss what ethnicity you are, yet it proper makes my blood boil when someone uses an argument like this (fair enough in the 80's when it was an issue) to try and gain some support. 'I'm a white male from Liverpool, it's hard to not be tarnished sometimes..... NOW GIVE ME SOME SUPPORT'.

Paul Ince, Andy Cole and Ian Wright also form this list to create the injustice group 'Justice for equally accepted black men, who need something to make themselves feel better'.

Stats show that Ramsey done a truly horrific job at QPR. In the 9 months he was in charge he lost over 50% of his games he was in charge with a record of P32 W9 D6 L17 with a Win % of just 28.13%, but i guess it was just your Asian Owner being racist.

Chris Powell I am surprised by, I thought he was doing an excellent job at Huddersfield, and in his defence, he hasn't used any suggestions that he's judged on his managerial record by his skin tone. Sorry, the one thing I don't want to do is come across racist here, but if i lose my job, it's because i'm not good enough. It's the same scenario with any coach regardless of whether you're not a white male.

"To lose both managers sends out a really strong message to those aspiring to get on this journey," said Townsend.

"People will look and think 'Is it worth it? Is it because of the colour of their skin? Or is it because they are bad managers?'

"I know people will say results are not right but there is a lot more to it than that.

"Today is disheartening without a doubt."

That Townsend fella should go and live in Russia or something, then come back and make these comments in the UK. Idiot. Good on Frank Sinclair for being brutally frank about it.

Well yes, though of course that record does include the tail end of their awful PL season last year (which he took over the mess left by Redknapp). As for the "Asian owner", it is of course worth pointing out that it is in that area where QPR's problems lie, given that the past five or six managers have all been crippled by the same thing - the only difference is that Ramsey got less time than anyone, even Hughes (whose record was worse) and he was doing what they had initially asked him to do (ie: stabilize the club in the Championship, which they changed in September after no-one bought Fer and Austin to "get promoted", which is a laughable aim when you look at that side).

Would still love to have Austin on a free for next season.

But it still has no baring on his skin tone.

The one thing he's done is mess up in the Championship. Onouha, Faurlin, Austin, Green, Fer etc... theyre quality championship players. They should be coasting the weakest Championship for years, yet alone standing 12th. The man may be a good coach, but he's a terrible manager. They've spend well over £10m in establishing a team, which is adapted to winning. Reality is, they aren't.... sound familiar? Terry Connor from Wolves?

Part of me wonders if the racist part of all this is the fact people are complaining about black managers?

Think about it, wolves (or QPR) give their job to a black manager simply to show support of the cause so to speak and when it doesn't go well, people with too much to say then cries the rasicm card as a result. Perhaps stopping giving the job to these people under these circumstances and there wouldnt be an issue of it? I mean terry conner was always going to fail, ramsy was always going to fail, paul ince was mnassively out of his depth, barnes was just shocking overall etc .

the issue has been and always will be the roots football. That is where the focus needs to be, if you arent an ex player then you get ignored lower down. would it not be better to focus on why the conference or even lower (no idea) are not employing them?
