smalling knew what he was doing as well. players constantly do it to try and halt attacks, he had a good 3/4 seconds to move. hence why he didn't complain at the yellow. it was cynical, he knows the rules.

Nah, he's given United players yellows for making exactly the same fouls that he's let City players off for, Demichellis should have been given a yellow for intentional handball and he's just cleared straight through a United attacker now and it's not even a foul lol

Okay fair enough but dave brings up a good point that had his two bookable offences are reversed and blocking Hart comes 2nd, he wouldnt of gone.
