The ref has had a good game and for them two pen decisions I don't think he had a very good view of each. His assistants need to help him out. I would rather a ref didn't give the pen when they just can't see it rather than having a guess

My bet on City will be the easiest bit of money I'll make all season, wish I had more guts and put a ton on it though lol

No, you don't understand.

The ref is crap and bottled it cause he didn't give a penalty for a decision he wasn't sure of and probably couldn't see clearly.

Don't know why he didn't just watch numerous slow mo replays from differing angles like the armchair refs do and then give a decision rather than making one in a split second after the incident happened.
No YOU dont understand.

You are aware that the ref has assistants who are communicating with him at all times dont you.

If the ref didnt see that, the linesman surely should have as he would of been level with play.

i don't like city's squad. they have no like for like replacement for silva and they have no other wingers apart from navas (not going to count sinclair because when does he ever play?).

they've got so much money but their squad really isn't that great imo. if aguero get's injured they only have dzeko and jovetic who are both hit and miss. dzeko's great, but he does have a fair few of "those days".
Someone like Nasri could fill in for Silva.

The first one never was but the second clearly was. Overall though the referee has been a homer.

Then what is the point of a linesman if he sees someone kick another player square up the jacksie when clear through on goal and does zip about it?

The whole ref team bottled it completely. I didn't need a replay, it was clear as day, and to suggest none of the three of them saw it is ludicrous.

Yeah thats exactly right mate, the lino clearly saw it and 100% knew it was a penalty but didn't give it cause he was scared of the home crowd.

Or possibly, maybe, just maybe he thought it was two players challenging for the ball and there was no foul. Or he thought that that possibly Rojo did foul Toure but he wasn't sure so rather than give a decison he wasn't sure of, he erred on the side of caution and didn't give it.

Oh no sorry, i forgot, he bottled it didn't he.

I thought the first one was as well, he just kicks Aguero in the ankle. The point is though if the ref can't see it from his view then he needs his assistants to help him otherwise he is just guessing
