Today’s Football 25/26 Season

Saw that, seems an odd one turning to him again.

Whoever goes into that dressing room will need a strong personality.
Everything predicated on how much Perez gives authority to coach over players, this was ironically one of the reasons Mou was so anxious to leave the last time - fractured dressing room and fanbase turning on him

Even towards end in EPL he no longer was able to reach players when a dressing room was broken - his style worked in the 2000s but no longer in modern football

Some 'ex-assistant referee' on MOTD2 is saying it's time for a rule change following that West Ham disallowed goal.

His suggestion - attacking players are not allowed in the six yard box before a corner is taken to give the 'keeper a bit of space.

Maybe there's a reason why you'e an ex-assistant referee!?

Darren Carr, absolute no body. Shay Given even as a goal keeper was against him. Also he kept praising the refs decision in a difficult time.

Notice how they got rid of him after that first games highlights haha.

I just don't get the logic that because we (wrongly) didn't get the decision when Pablo fouled Pickford, then that means that they also shouldn't have given it today. That would by definition also be wrong, so are we now saying that consistent errors across the board is better? Yes, we should have got that decision, but it was also right to give it today if the incidents were pretty much the same.

50% right is no good, but 100% wrong is worse.

I've seen that suggested before. To be honest, given the ridiculous scrum before every corner now, it's not the worst idea I've heard. The attackers storm in from six yards to attack the ball as soon as it's kicked, it could work.

Sorry, the more you look at the disallowed goal the more ridiculous it becomes....

Half of the Arsenal team have West Ham players in a rugby hold without even looking at the ball.

The player who jumps on supposedly fouls the goalkeeper has an Arsenal player around his waist (facing away from the ball) and Gabriel with a fist full of his shirt!

How the heck you can give a foul against the West Ham player is beyond me. Could have and should have easily then given a pen for West Ham.

There was absolutely no reason for VAR to be involved.

Corrupt.
