Exactly. That's why they brought technology in.

We might as well get rid of it because it hasn't delivered that consistency. Unlike referees, it has no excuse.

Always felt VAR wouldn't be used for "clear and obvious" errors, and how it could find a penalty or a foul in any corner it liked, or spin a mm offside an illustration. Sprinkled with "variance" for some clubs.

I think when the goalie is getting fouled by two different players and the ref hasn’t spotted it then it’s absolutely fine to call it back for a foul
