This is the salient point. How can anything be judged before the window is closed? I'm certain City will bring in a CB and ship out some deadwood. But I really think another striker is needed. We can't rely on Gabriel Jesus alone.

Liverpool can defend, Pep's City can't and he's no nearer sorting it out - only today one of their main targets Koulibally looks out of reach and favours PSG.

Is Bournemouth's Nathan Aké the answer? He's good going forward but maybe not too good at the job he's paid for, defending - a typical Pep defender (nowhere near John Stones, but his type comes to mind) Fernandinho has been playing at the back in Laporte's absence and they've missed his midfield screening ability

Basically at the back City are a mess, attacking full backs like Mendy have one problem, they can't defend.

City haven't got a defence, Liverpool don't need luck

From owners linked to agents,
agents linked to managers,
managers then buy his own agents players at an excessive transfer fee,
manager gets a cut of the agents fee,
agent also pays a % of the overly excessive transafer fee paid back to the buying clubs owner.
