Then don't use BLM, say racial equality. Don't make it easy to oppose.
But the players likely don’t have a choice in all this outside of whether to kneel or not. Think you’re letting your obvious hatred of BLM clouding a quite simple incident.

Thats my take on it... but surely if the bloke apologises for any offence caused they should just move on.
Thats my issue with it all - its like a misunderstanding these days can cost you everything which shouldnt be the case.
Blokes reportedly apologised so if there wasnt any malice intended just move on and be grown ups about it - all this "get him sacked" "send him death threats" from idiots online and even on the video one of the players (Ba?) Saying they wont resume play until he's ejected from the officiating - the worlds becoming like something out of a Nazi Germany novel God help if someone gets offended by a stupid yet innocent misunderstanding your life / career may be over because of it - thats not a progressive world ffs.
Kneel for BLM is the line
Some people will kneel for black lives matter but not necessarily BLM
Clap for the NHS is the line
Some people will clap for the frontline workers not necessarily the NHS itself.
Without knowing the people in question you’re just assuming you know what their actions are supporting.
I mean... I've just literally linked the Black Lives Matter website that calls itself an organisation.
They can all call themselves the People's Front of Judea or the Judean People's Front, they're all ultimately and practically the same thing.
They had to remove their core tenants of their demands section since they got called out for it (ie abolish the police, abolish capitalism, abolish the nuclear family etc etc).![]()
BLACK LIVES MATTER MOVEMENT
Black Lives Matter is an international human rights movement - Black Lives Matter Movement UK is for revolutionary change. We believe racism transcends politics. Our campaigns are against anti-black violence and systemic racism towards Black people of African descent and heritage.blacklivesmatter.uk
No offence, but if you can't be bothered to google the organisation you're taking about, why are you taking about them?
Given that what they're kneeing for IS BLM. They have a choice. They could do something different. Or speak up and distance themselves from it. Or just clarify that they want to do something for racial equality in general. But the players likely don’t have a choice in all this outside of whether to kneel or not. Think you’re letting your obvious hatred of BLM clouding a quite simple incident.
You have Tubey, and as usual the point has sailed miles over your head. BLM cannot be "an organization" if there are multiple organizations, groups and movements using that as a name.
I'd have thought this was obvious, but then again I thought noone would ever be daft enough to point to a joke (about the multiplication of left wing movements that were so self-obsessed about difference that they literally killed each other) as evidence that is no difference.

If you clap for frontline workers, you're still supporting the NHS. As the overarching point of clapping was support the NHS.
It'd be anarchy if you could pick and choose what parts you liked and dilute it to pointlessness. "I'll clap but only for Irene who works at Fazakerley, I hate the rest of them so don't take this as supporting the rest!"
Anyone seeing you clap would think "they're applauding the NHS", end of story.
So Black Lives Matter are wrong about Black Lives Matter, because Black Lives Matter are not Black Lives Matter.
Got it.
When I was clapping in my mind I was paying tribute to all those nurses, doctors and everyone else on the frontline whether it be a lorry driver keeping the shelves stocked, the people working in the supermarkets, literally everyone on the frontline.
Maybe I wasn't clear in my point about the political party. They may not be the same group, but the point is that it's a political party. Shall we kneel every game for Boris?that site literally says:
We are a non-political, non-partisan, non-violence platform. Some content published on our website may have limited political content by the very nature of a country state governed and under a system of democracy. We operate in a humanitarian capacity and concern before all else.
We are not operating as a member of nor connected with any political party.
So thats the "they are forming a political party" proved wrong. Now wheres the manifesto?
Maybe I wasn't clear in my point about the political party. They may not be the same group, but the point is that it's a political party. Shall we kneel every game for Boris?
They can be contradictory in what they say. They had to remove from that site, their goals to 'dismantle western civilisation', 'abolish the police', and 'dismantle capitalist society'. Their actions are load also speak loader than their platitudes.
If the tories said, we're for the working class, would you suddenly believe them because it was on their website, or would you instead look at what they do?
Well you haven't, and to be honest I'd have thought @DOMNOLAN coming up with a second organization that even you acknowledge isn't the same as the BLM organization you cited would have told you that BLM isn't "an organization", but here we are.
By all means continue to pretend that they are all the same, even when they clearly state they aren't.
Exactly. So you weren’t necessarily clapping the NHS even if it looks that way to your neighbours.
I mean I don’t know how many people hate the NHS but know some do.
