2025/26 Tim Iroegbunam

I dont see hat others do in this lad to be honest, i dont see him making it here as long term first teamer.
Thats the same for me aswell cm is a position i still feel we need a starter in with gana just getting older. We have rohl aswell as tim who have just bought in so we need a starting cm imo to come in esp as we look to push up the table and improve in quality. If garner was out you question the quality in the middle, would like see us go after gomes from wolves in the summer

Agree 100% mate, id love that Kone at Roma.

Physically and technically, there's a lot there.

It's whether he's going to play regularly enough to learn his position, as he's not really a natural in that respect. He looks like somebody who probably got by on his raw attributes at youth level.

Seems more like a centre-back to me at times.

I'm not convinced by Villa Tim, he has attributes, his ability to drive forward with the ball and his tackling, but, his passing and ball retention are, at best, average and his awareness is worrying. Hopefully another season or so will improve this, for me though, he's not first team level yet. Mind you, he's well over 6 ft. So Moyes will want him in the team.

No he isn’t?

It is statistically correct that he is one of the best young players in the world in terms of winning and carrying the ball.

That in itself should tell people there’s a massive amount of potential in there.
What are those stats? Like,I want to believe in the lad, but just see him losing his man, passing poorly and almost no positive impact up front.

Help me, what are the stats saying about the above?

He's a blue, we want him to be good...
