Not most, but a lot did, due to him playing for a Dyche team. This really isn't true in the slightest.

Depends on the senior players reallyHow many 'work in progress' players can you carry in a squad.
But this is where we do a full circle, We need youth, not experience. But our youth are works in progress, but we blame the manager for not playing them. We also can't really class players like Tim and Rohl as youth anymore, certainly not in this era.Depends on the senior players really

He'll have got stick, obviously, because this is a football forum where people are posting literally as things happen on the pitch and in the immediate aftermath of poor performances etc, so all players are going to get it in the neck from time to time. To suggest that the prevailing opinion on Garner was that he was crap and needed to be sold is just utter nonsense though, it wasn't at all. I often felt like a dissenting voice in his thread last year saying he needed to step up more and he didn't affect games enough, with plenty of people shouting me down. This year he has stepped up more and affected games more which is brilliant, although I still feel like he's not quite at the level some fans say he is personally. Not most, but a lot did, due to him playing for a Dyche team.
Apart from possibly his family I've backed him from the start and never wavered, but you are totally right and i've been caught in quite alot of heated debates over the lad.Go back to his thread from last season

A couple of senior professionals who set high standards, a manager who isn't afraid to take risks with inexperienced players and trust them even when they make mistakes and younger players who are ambitious to play at the highest levelBut this is where we do a full circle, We need youth, not experience. A page on which a grand total 0 people advocate selling him and half the posts are people saying he's good? Right then, that's me told.
I just had a very quick read of page 80 which was already enough
