2025/26 Tim Iroegbunam

given that we had to recall a midfielder from loan we are hardly likely to sell a midfield player this window.

….Gueye was at AFCON but is now back and KDH was injured and is now back. Given the noises over Armstrong returning to PNE, it looks increasingly like we’re surplus in that area so I doubt a decision will be made due to lack of numbers.

I very much understand that, and you very much don't understand that 3 good games in 20 aren't a good indicator of anything.

He might, MIGHT, make it as a good player in the Prem, but he's got a lot to work for and "is big" is not a Prem quality, we need more than that. He bosses championship teams like Forest and Wolves because that's his level - Newcastle, Arsenal, Chelsea bypass his existence and bully him, as there's more to football than being tall. I'd love to see him have more good games but based on the evidence so far he needs to work quite a bit and pull a skillset out of his backside.
Apart from the fact he played really well against Arsenal and Bournemouth and Brighton. Maybe you missed those games? You're making a fool of yourself with these championship level jibes. Forest have two England players playing in midfield for them for Christ's sake. 😂

So no more injuries and suspensions this season. Wow, brilliant news!

Should we just never sell a player then in case we get another injury or suspension?

I wouldn’t be selling Tim unless we got a decent profit on what we paid as I think he’s got a good amount of potential, but we do have enough midfielders to consider a sale if a good bid came in

Okay mate, he didn’t btw, but glad you’re the lord of opinions and time will tell when Tim plays for England in the next year or so about how much of a fool I’ve made of myself.

Forest can have 20 internationals and are still abysmal and fighting relegation because they’re managed by an inept chancer.

With a small squad as is our current position, then we shouldn't. In different circumstances then why not?

And it's not a case of 'if' with injuries, it's a case of who and when. Garner has been injury free so far but it'd be a miracle if he went through the season unscathed, and we've seen Armstrong, Alcaraz, Rohl, KDH and Tim himself sidelined for a bit. Moyes has also made it clear that he would ideally prefer Armstrong to return to Preston, so selling a cm in that case looks improbable this late in the window (unless the bid is silly). We've seen these last few weeks what the squad is like when stretched, and now there's no Grealish until April at least. We should be enlarging, not reducing, the playing staff right now. We could obviously contemplate an attractive swap deal if it's offered, but they are actually very rare.

Ok mate. Did I say he would? Has Garner or KDH played for England? You seem to block out all of the praise Tim has received this season.
