Punch you mean a flap of his hand ending with a drop could not catch a cold imo!Anyone see his 'punch' in first half yesterday?
Nearly gifted them a goal.
Robles is untested, - he may have the odd gaff, but he is six ft 5 inches tall - younger better reflexes, better distribution, and he comes out for crosses! He should be dropped, but after a few games people will say the same thing about Robles. We do need a new keeper, but as a team we need to defend better.
Stoke defended much better as a unit than we did. I don't remember Butland making a save or coming out to stop the ball. Defensively we have serious issues to be sorted, and Robles is definitely not the solution but let's give him a go.
Agreed, he also said "I don't think I have seen that technique before". Then a couple of minutes later, after another Toure led attack, he said Toure can be excellent, he (Toure) has done absolutely nothing all night until the last five minutes, I cant understand why he hasn't played like that for the whole game....Toure had seen man city about to drop three points, and with their forward line looking pretty crap, had tried desperately to put in 110% effort to try and scramble (almost single- handedly)his team a draw. No player could keep that energy level up for ninety minutes........Sorry it took me so long to reply.......Hope you have a happy new year. When they were showing the replay of toures goal he said Toure didn't even have to put that much "effort" into the shot which by his tone I took as one of those "he makes it look easy" type comments
